Friendship Group

Whether you are married, single, young or old, man or woman, church attender or not

YOU ARE WELCOME to join our Friendship Group. We enjoy fellowship, friendship and outings together and have a membership of around 30 people.

The Club meets normally on the Fourth Friday of each month at 7-9pm and also in the afternoon on the second Tuesday of each month. The times of our Tuesday meetings vary depending on what we have planned.

Our programme is varied and there is something for everyone. The programme of activities can be obtained in the foyer in the church, but here are the activities for the next two months

Friday 25th November 7pm – Scottish Night to celebrate St Andrew’s day. Elizabeth and Frank will lead the night with music and singing of the well known Scottish songs. This will be followed by a supper of Scotch Broth and rolls followed by Scottish Shortbread. If we are up to it we shall have a bit of Scottish Dancing after that!

We have no Friday evening activity in December, but shall meet together on Sunday 11th December at 12.15 for lunch at The Manor Golf Club at Drighlington, for a meal at 1pm. ( This activity is now fully subscribed)
