The J Team
The children in the J Team meet in Church at the 10:00 am
Sunday Service and then go out with their leaders and helpers to the
Main Hall for about 50mins. (Except at monthly Family
Services when we all stay together in church.) Each Sunday
we learn how to know and follow Jesus as our King and friend.
The J Team is for children in school years Reception to Year 3.
The TGIS group also go from the 10:00am service on a Sunday, with their leaders and
helpers, to their meeting in the Community Room. They learn more about
Jesus and different aspects of the Christian faith. They learn
to be prayerful and that being with our Church family can be
'cool'and fun.

4JC
The 4JC group meets at 10:00 am in the morning service. After the first worship
song they go with their leaders and helpers to the upstairs room for their own meeting.
They enjoy looking at the Bible and discussing issues relating to their lives and also
praying together. They also meet on a Friday evening at the Youth leader's home, where
they can continue their discussions and fellowship together.
This group is for young
people in school years 7 to 9.
DV8 is a Sunday morning and Tuesday evening discussion group for teenagers aged 14 upwards. On Sunday we meet at 10:00 am in the morning service and then go to the Vicarage, on Tuesday we meet at the Youth Worker's home. We discuss many varied topics and explore what it means to be a teenager and a Christian. We also meet socially about once a month, to eat pizza, watch a video, go to the cinema, go to a theme park, etc. We visited ‘Greenbelt’ for 3 days in August 2004 and hope to go again in 2005. (Greenbelt is a Christian Music Festival for young people including music, prayer, teaching and worship.)
